Our daughter moved to Tofino B.C. and on our first visit, we went for a walk on Chesterman Beach. There is a wonderful island just a short walk over a sandspit. I had to paint it. As soon as my son-in-law saw the painting, he said ” that’s frank island”. I could not believe it. My late father’s name was Frank. I think my father was with me when I painted it. He would be so proud!
